Liquid Filling Machines

Our liquid filling machines handle a broad spectrum of liquid products: water-thin liquids (water, juice, alcohol, solvents — viscosity <100 cP); medium-viscosity liquids (sauces, syrups, shampoo, lotion — 100–10,000 cP); high-viscosity products (honey, gel, cream, paste — 10,000–1,000,000 cP); and specialty liquids including carbonated beverages (counter-pressure filling), foaming liquids (anti-foam heads), corrosive chemicals (PTFE/PVDF wetted parts) and pharmaceutical liquids (aseptic filling). The correct filling principle — gravity, piston, peristaltic, gear pump or flow meter — is selected based on viscosity, product sensitivity and required accuracy.

Piston filling: most common method; piston draws liquid into cylinder then dispenses it. Accurate for thin to medium viscosity (by RFQ). Best for sauces, lotions, chemicals, juices. Peristaltic pump: rollers compress a tube to move liquid — zero product contact with pump mechanism, ideal for sterile or aggressive liquids. Accuracy by RFQ, limited to lower viscosities. Gear pump: positive displacement using meshing gears; excellent for high-viscosity products (creams, adhesives, gels); accuracy by RFQ. Flow meter filling: uses Coriolis or electromagnetic flow sensor for mass or volumetric measurement; best for thin, clean liquids at high speed; accuracy by RFQ.

A volumetric piston filling machine is a practical fit when the liquid has stable density, the fill volume is repeatable, and the project needs a flexible filler for oils, sauces, lotions, syrups or chemicals. It is often easier to size than a flow-meter system for medium-viscosity products and small-to-medium output lines. For regulated net-content projects, high-value oils or products with density drift, compare piston filling with net-weight filling before final quotation.

Peristaltic pump filler: by RFQ (tube wear affects accuracy). Gear pump filler (viscous): by RFQ. Flow meter filler (thin liquids, high-speed): by RFQ. Net weight filler (scale-based): by RFQ. For pharmaceutical and high-value products, net-weight or servo flow meter filling with in-line checkweigher is recommended to verify accuracy across shifts.

Yes. For corrosive chemicals (acids, alkalis, oxidisers), wetted materials such as PVDF, PTFE, PP, Hastelloy or titanium are reviewed based on the specific chemical and concentration. For flammable or volatile liquids (solvents, ethanol, acetone), ATEX or IECEx documentation scope, electrical protection, grounding and ventilation needs are reviewed from the SDS, site zone classification and destination-market requirements. For highly toxic liquids, enclosed filling and extraction scope can also be reviewed. Always provide your SDS when enquiring so we can specify the correct materials and safety features.

Inline fillers are simpler, lower cost and easier to maintain. They are suitable for speeds up to 60–120 bottles/min. Best for small to medium production volumes, multiple product types (easy changeover) and limited floor space. Rotary fillers are higher speed (100–1,200 bottles/min), continuous motion machines for dedicated production lines. They are more expensive but have higher throughput and are the standard for beverage, dairy and pharmaceutical high-volume production. Choose inline for flexibility; choose rotary when throughput exceeds what inline can deliver at your target cycle time.

Compare liquid filling machine price by quoted scope, not only by the filler model. Check the filling principle, number of heads, container range, product-contact materials, anti-drip or heating options, capping and labeling scope, spare parts, utilities, FAT/SAT support, commissioning and destination requirements. A useful RFQ includes the liquid type, viscosity, fill volume range, container and cap samples, target output and whether the quote should cover a standalone filler or a complete filling line.

Hot sauce and condiment projects usually need a sauce filling machine configuration rather than a standard thin-liquid filler. Confirm viscosity, particulate size, fill temperature, bottle mouth, cap type and sanitation method. If the sauce contains seeds, flakes or pulp, wide-bore piston valves, bottom-up filling and anti-drip control should be reviewed before quoting.
