Cosmetic Tube Filling Machine

Send the product type, viscosity or flow description, filling temperature, target fill volume, tube material, tube diameter and length, cap style, required output and preferred automation level. Include clear tube drawings or physical samples whenever possible. Also state whether the project needs tube orientation, batch coding, seal inspection, checkweighing or cartoning. These inputs allow the supplier to review the dosing method, nozzle, tube holder, sealing process and downstream scope. A quotation based only on the nominal tube volume is not enough to confirm machine compatibility.

One platform may be configured for several cosmetic formulations, but suitability depends on how each product behaves during pumping, dosing and nozzle cut-off. Buyers should report viscosity, thixotropic behavior, temperature sensitivity, foaming, stringing, suspended particles and exposure to air. A hydrogel may require a different hopper, transfer method or nozzle from a dense cream. If the formulation is still under development, request a sample test and define the acceptable fill-weight variation, appearance and air-bubble limit before final machine selection and production approval.

Plastic and laminate tubes normally require a heat- or ultrasonic-sealing process matched to the tube structure, while aluminium tubes require a folding and crimping process. The supplier should review the tube material, wall structure, diameter, tail design, printed registration mark and required seal appearance. ABL and PBL are not interchangeable simply because both are laminate tubes. Send production tube samples for sealing trials and define the required seal-strength, leak-test and cosmetic-appearance criteria in the acceptance plan before approving final tooling.

The 15–30 mL volume range can be evaluated, but nominal volume alone does not confirm compatibility. Tube diameter, length, material, cap, tail area, registration mark and product dose all affect the tooling and filling setup. For laboratory or pilot batches, compare a semi-automatic or lower-speed configuration with a fully automatic line. If future scale-up is planned, ask whether the dosing system, tube tooling and control recipe can be transferred to the larger production configuration. Final selection should follow tube samples, product trials and the required batch size.

Machine supply and packaging-material supply should be stated as separate quotation items. Buyers should confirm whether the offer covers only machine compatibility testing, trial samples, initial tooling quantities or ongoing tube supply. For ABL/PBL tubes, specify tube structure, diameter, length, cap, artwork, barrier requirement and order quantity. The machine acceptance test should use the same tube specification intended for production. Do not assume that a machine quotation automatically includes commercial quantities of tubes, caps, printed packaging or future replenishment supply.
